The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team will be looking to win their first ever Commonwealth Games gold medal this month.

Fiji has been falling short since 1998 with three silver medals and a bronze in 2006.

New Zealand is the most successful team winning all the games since 1998 except in 2014 which was won by South Africa.

Fiji is in Pool C with Canada, Wales and Zambia.

Defending champions New Zealand is in Pool A with England, Samoa and Sri Lanka while South Africa, Scotland, Tonga and Malaysia are in Pool B.

Pool D has Australia, Kenya, Uganda and Jamaica.

The 7s competition will take place from 29th July to 1st August.
