Delicious, island-inspired cuisine

No holiday is complete without indulging in some delicious food and drink. Fiji offers a delectable fusion of two cuisines: Indigenous Fijian, which features plenty of seafood dishes, and Fijian Indian, which is loaded with spice. Be sure to sample the national dish, kokoda, which is freshly-caught fish marinated in lime juice and coconut milk.

For a traditional dining experience, we recommend participating in a Lovo ceremony. This is a traditional feast where fish, meat and vegetables are wrapped in banana leaves and cooked in an underground oven. Meanwhile, if you’re craving your favourite international flavours, Fiji is also home to plenty of fine-dining restaurants.
