This week we have been very busy talking with a lot of our clients, both new and returning, about booking their much needed and anticipated holiday. We have taken bookings for late December and January for travel from Australia. It’s more than just exciting – it’s over the moon thrilling. We thought today it would be worth telling you about what Fiji is doing to make sure when you travel you will be safe.
You don’t need to be fearful about visiting Fiji. Tourism Fiji, the Fijian Government and the Fijian people have taken the risk of COVID very seriously. At time of writing vaccination levels are extraordinarily pleasing:
95.2% of the target population have received one dose, which is 588, 599 adults.
64.4% are now fully vaccinated nationwide in Fiji, which is 398, 077 adults.
In similarly good news, the Care Fiji Commitment, implemented by Tourism Fiji has been WHO approved to the highest standards of best practice health and safety measures. In recognition of this the World Travel and Tourism Council have declared Fiji a Safe Travels Destination.

Aircraft sanitisation, onboard air filtration systems, a medically trained Customer Wellness Champion on board to help should you need it, as well as hygiene packs, deeply sanitised amenities and whilst Fiji Airways will remain full service, your meals will be simplified and on disposable food for thought packaging.
